Association Of The Family Business - Bulgaria
"Association Of The Family Business" is a non-profit organisation. The association’s goal is to work for the development and establishment of the family business in Bulgaria, to support the families in their business to understand and cope with challenges on regional and global levels and to support family business success, as well as to encourage them to ensure their business accomplishment.
The idea of creating Association Of The Family Business - Bulgaria is on Petar Mandjoukov’s initiation – the Executive Director of P.M. Group JSC. At a meeting with Olivier de Richoufftz – the Executive Director of Family Business Network International – Petar Mandjoukov decided to undertake the organization and establishment of an Association aiming to support the development of the family business in Bulgaria, its preserving and continuing of its traditions and continuity.
On 22 November 2006, at the office of P.M. Group JSC, a Constituent Assembly of the "Association Of The Family Business - Bulgaria" was held, where the constitutors - Petar Mandjoukov, Ivailo Mandjoukov, Daneta Jeleva, Dinko Dinev, Hristo Iliev, Yuliyan Indjov, Kiro Kirov and Ivan Kirov – were present. The constituting of "Association Of The Family Business - Bulgaria" and the appointment of Petar Mandjoukov as a Chairman was unanimously voted.
Officially, "Association Of The Family Business - Bulgaria" was constituted on 17 January 2007, by a decision of the Sofia City Court. According to the agreement from 16 February 2007, the association was accepted as a full member of the world organization Family Business Network – International (www.fbn-i.org) situated in Lausanne, Switzerland.
At a general meeting of the Board of Managers of the European organization – European Group of Family Enterprises, located in Barcelona /European Group of Family Enterprises (GEEF) – www.geef.org / - held on 26 April 2007, "Association Of The Family Business - Bulgaria" was approved as a regular member.
"Association Of The Family Business - Bulgaria" is an open civil structure for new members sharing the philosophy and principles of family business.
Purposes:
• to assist the families into the business to understand and to cope with the challenges both at regional and global level, and to support the success of the family business, as well as to encourage them to ensure the recognition of their business;
• to ensure comprehensive access to the most significant sources of information about the family business through associations, meetings, conferences, equal networks of all kinds, as well as to establish and maintain contact with another information carriers, including scientists and counselors.
• to support the families into the business and to serve as a connection between the separate persons and organizations included in the system of the family business;
• to work for the development and recognition of the family business in Bulgaria;
• to develop and implement projects regarding the realization of the family business in the Bulgarian economic background;
• to realize exchange of information, ideas, knowledge and experience;
• to collaborate and coordinate its activities with the governmental and municipal authorities, as well as with the public institutions with the purpose of the development of the family business in Bulgaria;
• to cooperate for the enrichment of the human recourses ivolved into the activities of the family business in Bulgaria;
• to encourage and facilitate the interaction and participation of interested representatives of the family business in Bulgaria in the creation of a good climate for the development of the family business in the Bulgarian economic reality.
Partners:
• Strategic partners of the Association in for the achievement of its purposes shall be the commercial companies performing family business, legal entities with non profit purpose for supporting the business, international programs and institutions connected with the family business, Bulgarian central and local authorities, business circles, specialized international organization of the business and of the family business.
