Official Dinner on the occasion of the “Family Day”
On November 20 Gala Dinner was held on occasion of the Christian Family Day. Special guests on this year's event were H. E, Kaare Janson, Ambassador of Denmark and Thomas Kurti, President of FBN Hungary and Vice President of Information Management KURT.
Mr. Hristo Iliev announced the establishment of the Award for "Best family-owned company" The contest is an initiative of the Association of Family Business in Bulgaria.
The criteria on which participants will have to respond, will be developed by PricewaterhouseCoopers Bulgaria within the framework of partnership between the two organizations.
Prizes will be awarded in three categories: "Best family company", "Best young manager - representative of the Next Generation" and "Best media coverage of activities of the family business in Bulgaria”. The specific parameters and the Jury members will be publicly announced in early 2010. Criteria will include not only financial parameters, but also those related to traditions, heritage and family values, as well as Loyalty to employees, to shareholders, to clients, suppliers and the community.
