Vinex Slavyantsi is among the most authoritative wine - growers in Bulgaria. It owes its success to the combination of tradition and modern technologies. The winery is situated in the Sungurlare valley that falls at the South winegrower’s region. The region is hilly and undulating, situated at 350 meters above sea-level. The soils are light, sandy, clayey and maroon with comparatively low ground fertility. The winter is mild and the summer is full of hot days and breezy nights - caused by the closeness to the Black Sea and the Balkan mountain range. These climate conditions are favourable for the production of quality grapes and wine.
The vine massifs of Vinex Slavyantsi embrace an area of 600 hectares and are located at the south slopes of the valley. There are growing kinds such as: Misket, Chardone, Traminer, Muscat Otonel, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Caberne Sovignon, Caberne Franc, Chiraz.
The winery produces around 15 million litres of wine yearly. The wine is successfully salable in Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Russia, USA, Slovakia, Finland, Czech Republic, Sweden and Japan.
